[Why do relationships break up?]
So why do certain relationships break up, and happen so common nowadays?
I feel there are 2 factors:
1) They should not have been in a relationship but got together
2) The reasons for breaking up are getting more trivial
Here are some of the more undesirable relationships that I have observed:
1) Relationship of convenience: I feel like having a girlfriend, the girl does not have a boyfriend and thinks why not? I could use some companionship and so they get together
2) Relationship to enhance one's status: One gets into a relationship to boast to others how many bf/gf they have had
3) Relationship for bodily pleasures: Enough said.
4) Relationship to spend another's money: Enough said as well
And these are some of the not so good reasons that I have heard for breaking up:
For guys to girls:
1) You are restricting too much of my time (to play computer games).
2) You are too clingy.
3) I met someone new.
4) I am tired of you.
5) You are always with other guys
6) You do not understand me
and more...
For girls to guys:
1) You do not buy me enough presents
2) The other guy has a car.
3) You spend more time on the computer than me
4) You are always with other girls
5) You do not understand me
6) You expect me to pay for a date (one time)
and more...
Just glad I have found my DearDear, who has the same attitudes towards a relationship like me. Cannot believe something like a relationship can just be broken off with such trivial reasons!!

[Eagerly awaiting results]
I feel I really should be updating more than I am doing now...and I will strive to gambate!
Finished registering for INSTEP today...Didn't feel quite the hype that I thought I would feel, but that is just probably because I am really lowest of the lowest priority liaozz because of my inferior GPA...and I just don't want to be overly hopeful because competition for places is just so intense...Hope Lady Luck smiles on us and me and Dear Dear will get a chance to attend the same university...That will sure be a memorable holiday!
Had a little tiff with Dear Dear...hope to be back to normal soon...dun like the feeling of quarrels...Plus it led to her not eating dinner...My parents were kinda disappointed...mum bought a large fish specially for her...Hope she'll get to taste it next time round!

[Fevers, but of the good kind:)]
Recently, there's been plenty of fevers lately...but thankfully none of the dreaded ones that we have to take aspirin for...Rather, the fevers of events that overwhelm us and get us really high...
1) Beijing Olympic Fever:
Everyone was marveling at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic games and its amazing choreography and presentation...Too bad I did not watch. Honestly, I felt it was not worth the hype but now having a little regret after everybody kept remarking how amazing it was.
2) National Day Fever:
The National Day Fever was slow to catch on, but it caught on when it all mattered on the day itself. You could feel the celebratory mood around Marina Square and the anticipation of many families who had specially come down for the parade. The morale of the marching contingents were very high as well, especially after the parade was over. Well, a pity I could not quite participate in the celebrations (my grandfather's birthday too) but I take pride in my work.
3) Dear Dear Fever:
Hahaz I guess this was the only fever that truly caught on to me, but what a feeling! Being in love is great...and this is perhaps the greatest fever of all...
Cheers
